Doing my Thesis while Star Wars is playing in the BG; This puts me in such a great mood.
While browsing the net for a new Darth Vader wallpaper, I stumbled upon this & I just had to post it on my Tumblr because it’s just so damn adorable!
I am not a Jedi with a Blue Lightsaber for the Jedi council would not allow me to become one of them for they feel like The Force is strong in me but they sense great conflict in me and conflict leads to the Dark Side of The Force.
I have met a Sith Lord and now, when asked what my views on politics are - I simply say: The Galactic Empire. (Religion, well, I just say…LOOK AT MY COOL MIND TRICKS!)
As for occupation, well, Jedi Knight to the Sith Lord - red’s cooler than blue anyway.
Last Tuesday, I almost got this particular sketch of Vader tattooed on my arm but I decided against it because it just didn’t feel right yet. Vader has to have a body, even if it is in Lego form.
Ink on Paper; Design gotten from a Lego version of Vader.
I know I promised I wouldn’t reblog things or whatever but while finding references for a new Darth Vader sketch, I stumbled upon this (Click pic to be linked to original location) and thought to myself: Now, this is awesome!
I know this is going to sound really odd but I don’t think I admire anyone to the extent that I’ll have anything related to them tattooed on my body except for Darth Vader.
Yes, that Darth Vader.
Some might say it is a weird admiration indeed, to have a villian tattooed on one’s self to be there forever and ever but might I say, I really love Star Wars THAT much.
And to me, Darth Vader may be a villian but he represents how there’s always good left in anything and everyone. I feel he also represents how our choices may not always be the right ones and they may lead to our demise but there’s always that one decision that will lead to our salvation.
After all, Anakin Skywalker only became Darth Vader because he wanted to save Padme from death so bad that yes, he was seduced to the Dark Side of the Force but at the end of the day, it was ultimately the goodness left in Darth Vader that saved Luke Skywalker.
That’s what Darth Vader represents to me at least.
I know, I sound like a total geek but Star Wars (especially the original ones) is a really good franchise. You did good Mr. Lucas.
